Castle of la Guerche, French Heritage monument to Nassigny
Ancient medieval fortress which there are substantial remains (donjon square, tours) and which has been completely redesigned in classical times. The castle is composed of two main buildings perpendicular a rectangular courtyard: a corps de logis and a common. The Court is enclosed by a wall pierced with a porch facing a bridge over a moat. This façade is framed by two towers. The courtyard also includes the second common, the Chapel and the porch of the 18th century. The porch consists of a small rectangular Pavilion at two levels. On the ground floor, it is crossed by a passage vaulted arches. From the outside, the ornamentation of the door has two overcome non-fluted pilasters of capitals connected between them by a decorated band in the center of a cartridge framed date of two small triangles. Under the roof runs a polychrome brick cornice decorated with modillions.
