Fortified: 5th caposaldo Spegi, French Heritage monument to Tende

This group of works that constitutes the fifth the first line of defence of Vallo Alpino caposaldo II A subsector is organized into tight on the southern slopes and is heights overlooking Saint-Dalmas in the North-West and the Valley of the mining in the North. This caposaldo includes 4 posts by shooting open with shelter-cave (numbered 8 to 11), three shelters-caves (rated G, H is and West H), a book by Observatory (Spegi) and a company building. The first consists of a rectangular room shelter with technical premises, access galleries into a fight and shooting locations open. Traces of principles of construction for the camouflage: camouflage on palisade of firing positions. The work of the Observatory is a block lying on front rounded including a small Chamber cover casemated associated with three embrasures breakthrough observation Chamber. batterie 9 caposaldo speggi un des deux blocs d'ou sortaient les obusiers,ces blocs devaient etre couvert et abrites mais par manque de moyens on ete laisse tel quel de simples porte metaliques fermaient l'entree
