Oppidum de la Cloche, French Heritage monument to Les pennes mirabeau

Located north of the chain of la Nerthe, 235 m above sea level, this oppidum dominates the path which led Marseille to Arles by Septemes at the junction of a road across the chain. 99% On the commune of les Pennes Mirabeau, the plot extends until the end of the Valley where the path that leads to an entry into a fight. It has been excavated since the 1970s by Louis Chabot, who explored on half of its area. The fortification, punctuated by square towers and a facing is known for a few years.
