Church Saint-Beauzire, French Heritage monument to Trizac
The Church dates, for the most part, from the 12th century. It consists of a circular, enlightened apse three internally framed Windows and arches supported by the columns and vaulted apse externally. A choir on square plan with four combined falling on columns involved with bases and capitals carved from the 12th century. The veined roof was rebuilt in the 14th century two chapels at flat bedside tables lit by two Windows and vaulted to 14th century. A nave of four bays separated by columns and the timbers, vaulted slightly broken cradle. Two aisles with four bays separated by columns and timbers in a half barrel vaulted. Four side chapels added in the 14th century. The main gate is from the 13th century. It is decorated with eight columns and four arching toroidal coil. This door is sheltered under a porch of the same date on which rises the small pierced rectangular Tower three bays on the main facade and the nave, and a Bay on each side. The apse and the choir have retained their old cornice with Auvergne Ravens chip. The inner capitals are carved (Griffins, rinceaux, hippogriffs, two draped... characters). It is a fine example of the beginning of the 12th century Church of auvergnat style at the beginning then limousin its vaults.
