Chapel of Fixey to Fixin

This Chapel is located on the height of the hamlet of Fixey, surrounded by vineyards. It is Romanesque and shows a beautiful bell tower square covered with glazed tiles a dominant black and gold.

It traced its construction the year 902, then oratory bearing a dedication has St Antoine. the chapel will be several redesign over centuries. The Tower of the Bell Tower date from the 10th century, the Western nave as it dates from the 12th, as the narrow bays that composes. The East nave seems to 13th. The last known major change is to 1720 in the form of an enlargement of the heart by a sale in a half circle (oven cul) located behind the altar.
