Domaine du chateau du Plessis, French Heritage monument to Bouquelon

The estate consists of a Manor House, a Dovecote, buildings, a wood and Saint-Eustache Chapel mentioned in 1464. In 1608, Claude de La Barre, Treasurer of France, is decorating the Chapel by the Symon Gredovin painter who carries out a set of wall paintings with figures of the Old Testament, Apostles and last judgement. In 1750, the castle was enlarged to a wing back on the entrance pavilion of the 14th-15th century, which preserves a curved frame. In 1844, a neo-Gothic Funeral Chapel was built by the architect Bartholomew. This property reflects the evolution of a large estate.
