The Theodore well headframe, French Heritage monument to Wittenheim
Theodore wells steel headframe is German type (false-square Porter) and the model 'bat hockey' because its two bigues in solid core beams are body with the platform supporting the lower wheels. These bigues are oriented to the Northeast, the extraction machine building. It is 65 m high and its two bunk levels are respectively to 57 and 47 m. 4 wheels have a diameter of 7 m. metal headframe of the Theodore wells was built in 1958 by B.B.T. (Barber-Bénard-Turenne), in replacement of the original headframe dating from 1912. The model proposed, said 'hockey bat', appeared in the Ruhr area in 1928 (wells Robert Muser, Bochum). Decommissioned at the pit stop, in 1986, it was since abandoned and registered, on 17 August 1995, in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments.
