Church, French Heritage monument to Boulogne sur gesse
The Notre Dame church of the Assumption dates from XIVe century, and shelters frescos representing the life of Holy Catherine of Alexandria. This interior decoration would be carried out with 15th and 16th centuries.
Opened west coast by a porch/gate being located under the bell-tower it offers inside, in addition to the sumptuous decorations, a pulpit rebirth (see photo of Monique a.c. which we owe the chronology of the place), and a very beautiful organ classifies with the Furniture of France.
This building is built out of yellow sandstone of Peguilhan, to replace an other church probably built at the 12th century.
The middle of the 15th century will be mark by deep restorations of the church.
Among curiosities one notes a chime of 18 bells.
