Sawmill Boursin, then factory carpentry Panaget, French Heritage monument to Vitre
Site consisting of several buildings spread around a courtyard. The logis management, flanked by the workshops, is located at the entrance to the site. Built in schist, there is a covered square floor of a rump and everything slate roof. Facades are pierced by rectangular bays framed brick, bow low, basket or simply topped by a lintel metal. The workshop manufacture, consisting of several asset-backed body, on the ground floor, is built in shale on its front facade and cement concrete with weatherboarding sheet for the rest of the building (sign of expansion campaigns). The bodies are covered with roofs long half-timbered overcome skylights and corrugated metal lean-tos. A factory in brick chimney stands above the coverage of these workshops. The warehouses and industrial shops consist sheet weatherboarding lighter structures. The transformer is constructed of cinder block concrete, next to which is a small body of building on the ground floor, built in schist and mechanical tile cover. Sawmill built circa 1918-1920 by Mr. Boursin and Ms. Godebert. On 17 December 1941, the Boursin father and son company acquires the land and all of the surplus real property and goodwill. January 5, 1959, the company was sold to Joseph Panaget. Carpentry Panaget-Herfray plant, specializing in the manufacture of flooring and whose headquarters is located in Bourgbarré (35), acquired from this industrial complex on June 20, 1979. On 26 January 1996, new acquisition of the site by the company Panaget who gave it, on 5 April, the municipality of glass. Today, the carpentry plant is abandoned.In 1940, certificate of a machine and steam engines.In 1940, the Boursin sawmill employs about 40 workers.
