Halles from Langogne
Place of passage between Vivarais and Velay-South of the France, Langogne comes out of its walls in the 18th century. In 1743, Dom Ambrose of Fleury, prior of the city constructed the Hall, with its fourteen pillars, one of the largest preserved in France. It is a place of exchange of cereal, farm products, leather, wool country, against chestnuts of the Cevennes, wines and oils of Provence, and other goods from the midi and the Mediterranean.

The former Abbey Church of the Benedictine monastery of Langogne has three naves, a transept ended squarely at the North and South, and East three semicircular apsides including the two lateral tilt slightly outside. The vault is cylindrical, slightly extended Horseshoe, separate from pied-droits by a transom continuous and fitted with fabric bows. The square pillars which bear the vaults and the arches in arches have on each of their faces a column with classic base and barbaric capital.
