House, French Heritage monument to Pont sur sambre
House located down the street and preceded by a garden. The building is a simple, built brick house which was built around 1930, by adding an oriel window with a bow. All has been coated with cement molded, accentuating the stalls and giving relief. Blue ceramic plates underline the openings of the square floor and attics. The entrance hall and the kitchen keep a development designed by the painter Félix Del Marle. The railing of the stairwell is geometric patterned metalwork and highlighted by a door-plants combining hardware with geometric figures and plates (yellow, white, and blue). The same module has been applied to the clothing of the hallway closet. This decor is closer to the composition wall neo-plasticienne made by Félix Del Marle in his birthplace (IA59001374)(située en face) circa 1926 after his meeting with Mondrian. The kitchen is illuminated by a skylight and decorated by ceramic in shades of yellow, beige and turquoise blue. Simple House by the architect Marcel Mélon for contractor Beauval. The Interior of the House seems to be attributed to Félix Del Marle, painter born and living in the commune. He designed décor of ironwork to geometric figures.
