Chapel Saint-Corneille, French Heritage monument to Compiegne
Among the old buildings raised in the forest of Compiègne, there's place to report the small chapel called Saint-Corneille, very likely dependence of the famous Abbey of Saint-Corneille, whose substantial remains of the cloister are still in the town of Compiègne. This small chapel, unfortunately mutilated, has still some interesting parts. It consists of a complete room, on one of the narrow sides, by a polygonal apse. Dating back to the 13th century, the building retains this time that the walls and the main gate, the rings that divided the balusters next to exterior walls and some of the capitals of these columns.
