Cité internationale Universitaire: the Switzerland Pavilion, French Heritage monument to Paris 14eme arrondissement

Major of the architect Le Corbusier, comic work in collaboration with his cousin Pierre Jeanneret, the Switzerland of the Cité Internationale Universitaire Pavilion is built from 1931 to 1933. Six pillars in reinforced concrete, down to 19 meters deep, support the Pavilion. This metal frame building presents a range of choices of the architect in the field of materials, standardized elements and the integration of the furniture in the construction. This Pavilion is a program of 42 rooms of students, with an apartment, a Porter's Lodge, a refectory and a library. It can be regarded as the prototype of the residential buildings in the form of 'bar'. In 1948, the architect makes the fresco of the lounge-library
* in 1953, it modifies the façade and, in 1957, he draws three benches and remade the polychromy of the rooms, more vivid colors.
