Parish Church of St. Clement, French Heritage monument to St clement de regnat
The Church is fully built in limestone rubble, only the foundations of the 19th century are paired. The two spans of the central vessel, both collateral and their polygonal apses are vaulted with warheads, while the Central apse and the pre-nave are vaulted edges. The building has a bell tower off-work backed by the western façade. The arrow of the Bell Tower is covered in flat tile. The bedside to polygonal hilltops is covered in Slate and the roof long half-timbered covering vessels is mechanical flat tile. The bedside, raised in the 19th century, preserves Romanesque modillions and semicircular bays. The bays of the single nave of origin are reused on the collateral. The Tower suffered no recent changes. It has an arched gate and a murderess on the south wall. It is pierced lobed Berry in andesite. The Church is mentioned in the 13th century. The apse is probably complete at the end of the 12th century (dating by historical works). Although it has Romanesque elements on the Bell Tower and the apse, the building has apparently suffered some times in the following centuries. The portal seems to date from the 15th century (dating by historical works). The whole is almost entirely rewritten in the second half of the 19th century by the architect Paschal Lepage, Pierre Fontaine contributor and administrator of the domain of Randan. In 1860 Paschal Lepage (dating and source allocation) indeed performs important work that modify the plan and the initial elevation: elevation and modification of the nave, addition of collateral, elevation of the apse, and rehabilitation of all the roofs.
