The basis of quadrangular in rubble about 10 m from the fireplace remains, then the cylindrical brick about 20 m high part was destroyed brick and factory lime built in 1882 for Alexandre Jouillat (contractor of public works in Montmorillon), Henri Lucas and Alexis Boutaud near the quarry stone to operate. A Decauville serves 4 coal-fired continuous fire to large flame ovens. It is active for a few years only, and buildings appear to be abandoned as early as 1892. The crumbling buildings and the upper part of the chimney were demolished in 1981, with the exception of the cellars where the lime was stored and converted into a Home Office.A steam engine is reported in 1901 during the purchase of the plant by Jean Touraine
