House, then asylum St. Louis, French Heritage monument to Poissy

House with two Gables in no Sparrow. Upstairs on the front facade two wooden balconies patterned imitating a claustras give an oriental touch at home. The House, built in hard rubble of Poissy, was stripped of a coating of simple plaster intended from the outset to be covered with Ivy. House built, rue du Port, by the architect th. Dauphin at the request of Ernest Meissonier for his second wife Eliza Besançon. The latter bequeathed his home for abandoned girls: the work founded by Miss Bonjean will take the name of asylum St. Louis. In 1905 a new building was built at his request for a vocational school, the boarding school with the dormitory.
